Weather

Well,we've not got the predicted snow YET.
Some places have, some not.
I watched the BBC and they said by 7pm... no its a monsoon out there and its horizontal rain as we now have gales.
Its never stopped raining, if someone started building an ark me thinks it be too late!
Of course M had deposited mother in sitting room again this afternoon, and as soon as M left the house, mother started her nonsense!
She's been everywhere in the house, and when questioned I've been yelled at.
And then I got that SHE told me.
Showed her how bad it was outside by opening front door and she went ' oh not going out in that!' Off she went she said to her room to be warm and then she appears 10 mins later with the coat to go out! Did try and get her to come and have another look but she refused and claimed she didn't know!
The storm was brewing to the point I've candles dotted about the place as street lightening has gone off and everything has fluttered on and off!
So its a wait and see game if we have power all evening.

Got a reply from the Fudge company on Skye re wedding favours.
So that could be an idea.
Also found weird eco ones which I thought would be fun.
So you get a wee card with a poem on it, the date of the wedding etc and then you have seeds inside the paper and you plant the lot when you get home.
Thought daughter in law to be would love that idea.
If it was happening here I'd have suggested the miniature bottles of whiskey but its too heavy & duty would be paid at that end so no.
Want to have something unique we think.
I am now moving towards the eco stuff!
So not like me at all!
