How many days????

If you are wondering its 46.
Actually its worrying how fast 2010 is whizzing past or is that some one of my advancing years says about any year?

Have had no 2 son on the phone twice this week, first just for a general blether, just him & cats in the house & he wasn't starting work till 1pm.
Next was to inform me D.I.L's grandmother had passed over.
No one was deeply distressed about it, it had been expected and for the last year she'd been hospitalised and also didn't know a soul and had a poor quality of life. DIL didn't see her much because of her not knowing & her dad was quite laid back about it all as (1) he's that kind of guy (2) Buddhist (3) She didn't like him from the day he married her daughter 33 years ago! Tho I add he never held a grudge against her.

Mother behaved yesterday in fact at 7pm I was nagging her to get dressed!
Today, as I'd predicted at 7am she'd want to run but luckily ( though not for me!) she waited till about 2pm to do so! She is muttering away to her friend, whom sons call Drop Dead Fred, after the movie of the same name. To her this person she has these lengthy conversations with are REAL. Just as in the movie and her alter ego eggs her onto running off etc! As in the film!

After watching the Ant & Dec show oops David Cameron and Nick Clegg love in on No 10's lawn I was surprised David Cameron came north so soon. He doesn't like us.
Scotland as a Nation, not us as in my household ! Must be hard to know a whole country except 400,000 hasn't voted for you. Could you imagine if he'd been on X Factor, Britain's Got Talent or Dorothy? He'd have been voted off within the first few weeks!
I think electoral reform should have us voting as they do on reality shows, and I firmly believe more folk would vote for the politicians.
I suppose we do in Scotland seeing we have PR, we can say I like that Party so my X goes there but I quite like some of their policies or I like that person ( and yes my 2nd vote was for an independent as I admire her  on our last voting spree for Holyrood!).
