urgh, folk

Ok I am not known for my mild temper.
That might surprise you, I am a grumpy old woman.
Ok only when someone takes the Michael then I got narky.
Today hadn't been to bad, got up FORCED myself to the gym ( not going into that development yet!) came home, read a bit then went off to met up with bff for lunch.
My treat as he'd bought the naff high tea neither of us liked a couple of weeks ago!
I'd saw on Twitter there was a charity that allocated you a squaddie  http://www.adoptasquaddie.co.uk/  thought it could be my good deed and as I don't know any one on active duty out there just now there cold be guys/ girls who don't get that much sent to them.
Bought the stuff (well some) they had said would be good to send, boxed it, went to post office and was told with attitude it was over the free weight and I'd need to PAY for it, it was her whole attitude about paying, and I went ok I know I'd have to pay if over so how much.... £97 I went no way I'll go home and unpack stuff.
Meant I couldn't send all I wanted but enough, went back, and there was her colleague ranting about ME to her boss and MY attitude.
She hadn't clocked me coming in, there was a woman in front of me, who removed  me from their vision, but she looked up and then I smiled and went ' I am here!' She seemed flustered & then prompted to say about MY attitude! I did inform the owner that I didn't have attitude till his member of staff took hers out on me and they where down right rude. But I'd never use theirs again, I shall walk a wee walk up the hill to the other and I did point out for all the years they've been in there I've spent a lot of £ with various parcels to Canada/ States etc and UK ( 1 cost me £50 once) so as he seemed not care, I was fine giving my money elsewhere.
The thing was he was very quiet about it all, whilst his worker was giving as we'd say 'laldy' in the background and it hadn't been her that had served it was the one that had her back turned on us at all times, the one that had been rude to every one of her customers before she served me the first time.
Why did the other one feel she had to talk very indiscreetly about the first visit in front of everyone? And very loudly? Don't they do customer care in the post office?
We where always taught even if in the right you don't speak publicly about a punter.
Told him to take the parcel and that would be it, can't be doing with attitude especially when I'd have left it be but instead felt I had been forced into taking action, as I won't be someone's  object of ridicule etc.
To me that's being a big bully.
She reminded me of my sister who is in major trouble and how she talks to folk and still talks to folk and wonders why no one cares about the outcome of her problems as there is no sympathy for someone that thinks yelling at folk and blaming them for their own short comings was the way to go.
In a way kind of glad there had been a queue as I only looked like the wronged punter when the post office staff looked bad.
Ah well bright side, the walk to the other p.o will do me good.
