Errant Daughter

I'm an awful mother.
Errant daughter called on Friday night, ' I've something to tell you'.
What did I think?
OMG SHE'S PREGNANT, NOOOOOO!!!
That's bad of me to think the worst!
She called me to tell me that her fella had proposed!
So she came in and showed us the ring etc.
She says it won't be for some time.
Personally I'm hoping they run away, as its too soon to think about another wedding!
She doesn't want her bio father to give her away, and is looking at son no 2 to do so.
Her Auntie is terrified she will wear a black dress and I really don't mind!
I hope that as we run towards her 25th birthday this is her starting to settle in her life and boyfriend is the calming influence and it works well.
Spey wifie in Vancouver didn't mention daughter getting married to this one, but did say she'd have a boy, maybe that's why I was excepting the baby chat!
And really I should stop expecting the worst, but habits die slowly!
