agenda.... or is it

"Karma" literally means "deed" or "act", and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, which Hindus believe governs all consciousness.Karma is not fate, for we act with what can be described as a conditioned free will creating our own destinies.
According to the Vedas (Hinduism ), if we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil. Karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determine our future. Humans can amass(?)/ produce Karma in 4 ways :

  • through thoughts
  • through words
  • through actions that we perform ourselves
  • through actions others perform under our instructions

I am a firm believer in the above.
Mind you as the last few years have been utter crap for me, if not most of my adulthood, I do wonder what heinous crime I did in a previous existence for me to warrant what I have now!
All I can hope for is it was 'bloody good' you know being the Emperor Nero.

I do try and help folk, I probably worry about people more than I should and probably want to organise/ help them more than they want!
My 'bff' and I where talking last night about stuff over coffee and he decided it was my nature, I couldn't help myself and he's got used to it after 23 years! But he just couldn't get that there are members of my own family and other people I know think I have an agenda for helping out or doing good.
But as you can see from what Karma means I am hoping that my good deeds out weigh my bad in this life time and my next life will be better.  I say next life as well, time marches on with this one, so unless in the autumn of my years I suddenly have a fabulous life then I shall assume it could be my next. Oh and I don't want to be a Princess or what have you, just a nice life.

Oh and sister... so doesn't get the karma thing, despite what's been happening to her... could make me scream, and does so every so often at her.
